In most cases, the reconditioning involved primarily the repair of prior freight damage - most of our reconditioned units have never seen service, and those that have, have been used for a matter of a few days at the most as demo models. Reconditioning and re-testing was performed by the manufacturer, Stiebel Eltron, to its exacting specifications. Accordingly, there may be minor cosmetic blemishes (small scratches or scuffs) on the unit. We 100% guarantee that all refurbished units will operate according to the manufacturer's specifications. In fact, we are pleased to match the manufacturer's original warranty on all refurbished models that we sell.
